Grapes for Good Trail - Premium Tasting Experience.
Self-Drive Itinerary (no transport is included; guests should allocate a designated driver and drink responsibly)
The trail begins at Bleasdale Vineyards, with guests arriving at 10.00am for a hosted experience concluding at 11.15am. Guided by a member of the Bleasdale team, the visit includes a brief introduction to Bleasdale’s history while walking through the original part of the winery toward the Old Press. Guests are then welcomed with a glass of Sparkling Rosé served alongside dried fruits on Diddy’s Landing, seated with views facing the historic Press. From here, a structured tasting flight of four key Bleasdale and Langhorne Creek wines is presented on the barrel tasting bench, also located on Diddy’s Landing.
The journey continues at Bremerton Wines from 11.30am to 12.30pm, where guests are hosted by a member of the Bremerton team and introduced to the winery’s story and regional heritage. The experience begins with half a glass of Sauvignon Blanc paired with honey glazed haloumi. Guests are then guided through a tasting flight featuring three Bremerton wines showcasing a mix of white and red varietals, including both classic and alternative styles from the Langhorne Creek region.
The trail then continues to Kimbolton Wines, where guests are welcomed from 12.45pm to 1.45pm for a hosted tasting experience overlooking the vineyard, either from the rooftop deck (weather permitting) or from the cellar door with vineyard views. Guests are welcomed with half a glass of Rosé accompanied by a pear, prosciutto and gorgonzola flammekueche served on the rooftop. This is followed by a guided tasting flight of three key Kimbolton wines, highlighting the character of the Langhorne Creek region and the winery’s range.
The final stop is Lake Breeze Wines from 2.00pm to 3.00pm, where guests are hosted by the Lake Breeze team and introduced to the winery’s history and family story. The experience includes half a glass of Bernoota served with mushroom and parmesan arancini topped with white truffle aioli. Guests then enjoy a structured tasting flight of three Lake Breeze wines, rounding out the trail with a regional expression of Langhorne Creek winemaking.
