EXPERIENCE ITINERARY AND BOOKING DETAILS

Tour commences from Oliver’s Taranga Vineyards at 9.30am sharp.  

You will need to make your own way to and from Oliver’s Taranga Vineyards. Please let us know if you would like us to connect you with a preferred transfer company.

Homegrown Experience at Oliver’s Taranga Vineyards (McLaren Vale)        

Duration: 9:30 - 11:30

Activity: Explore one of Australia’s oldest family run vineyards with your own exclusive concierge on the Taranga Terroir Tour, glass in hand, tasting each variety next to the very vines that source them. ‘Ollie’ the Golf Buggy awaits for this exclusive vineyard tour where you will learn about the Oliver family through the generations, the heritage sites, sustainable viticulture, impeccable wines, have all your wine & vine questions answered and most importantly have some serious fun!

Inclusions: Immersive behind-the-scenes estate tour of our vineyards, exclusive wine & vine concierge, wine tastings, local warm bread, olive oil and almonds to snack on. A complimentary branded glass polishing cloth and Oliver’s Taranga magnets to take home.

Golding Wines - Provenance - Adelaide Hills wine tasting and lunch experience

Duration: 12:00 – 14:30

Activity: Begin your experience at Golding Wines with curated wine tasting and paired snacks taking in the breathtaking views from a private tasting platform located in the heart of their high-altitude Western Branch Vineyard. Traverse through the family’s extensive gardens on your way back to the sandstone barn where you will enjoy a delicious three course lunch, crafted by Head Chef Evert van Niekerk, sourcing fresh seasonal produce from the Golding’s kitchen garden and the region beyond. Learn about the Golding family’s history in the Adelaide Hills and the journey that led them to grow and create their wines here in this spectacular region. 

Inclusions: an intimate hosted immersive walking* wine tasting within the Golding’s Western Branch Vineyard at a bespoke tasting platform located withing the heart of the property. Taste award winning wines with accompanying seasonal paired snacks* crafted using produce from the estate kitchen garden. An introduction to the history of the Adelaide Hills Wine Region and cool climate grape growing philosophies and practices along with the Golding family history in the region. A three-course lunch curated to showcase the seasonal produce of the region with paired wines. A complimentary take home branded straw hat.

Depart Golding Wines via Helicopter at 14:35 to Kimbolton (arrive 15:00)

Behind the scenes wine and cheese pairing experience at Kimbolton Wines (Langhorne Creek)       

Duration 15:00 - 17:00

Activity: Begin your experience at Kimbolton Wines from the rooftop viewing deck, nestled amongst the gum trees, overlooking 55+ year old vines and the Langhorne Creek Wine Region. Once inside the Cellar Door (which is made from repurposed shipping containers), you will immerse yourself in an intimate wine and cheese pairing experience. Learn all about the art of wine & cheese pairings assist with choosing the pairings for future Kimbolton Wine & Cheese Flights of which they have become known for.

Inclusions: An intimate hosted experience with one of the experienced Kimbolton staff, tour of cellar door and roof top on arrival, introduction to Kimbolton and history of Langhorne Creek, master the art of matching wine and cheese with Kimbolton wines and local artisan cheese. As a keepsake from your experience, you'll receive a Kimbolton cooler bag, perfect for taking home any leftover cheese.

Depart Kimbolton via Helicopter at 17:05 and return to Olivers Taranga Vineyards. (arrive 17:30)

Price: $7,000 per couple.

(Inclusions: a hosted helicopter flight for approximately 1.5 - 2 hours over the South Australian landscape, a hosted vineyard tour with wine tastings at Oliver's Taranga, a hosted wine tasting of a sparkling wine, small nibbles, a three-course lunch with paired wines at Golding Wines, and a hosted wine pairing experience with 4-5 cheeses and wines at Kimbolton Wines.)

Allergy Information: Dietary allergies must be stated at the time of booking so chefs can prepare accordingly. Unfortunately we cannot cater to vegan requirements for this experience.

Important Information: Guests are required to wear enclosed shoes and dress appropriately according to the experience and weather. Guests are to make their own arrangements to the starting point and from the final destination.
